Maggot Fishmeal 2kg - (S0770003)The Maggot Fishmeal is one of our most popular baits, we knew that maggots were one of the best baits of all time and that is why we wanted to exploit their ability to catch fish in bait form. Once the fresh maggot has reached its maximum size, it is dehydrated. Dehydrating a product removes most of the water, which concentrates and intensifies the flavor. Dehydrated maggots have a unique smell that fish cannot resist. The dehydrated maggot is then ground up to release even more flavour and added to a mixture of ground pellets, fishmeal, breadcrumbs, meat extracts and cereals, creating a unique bait for all species of coarse fish, especially carp, F1, bream, tench and roach.Andy Power (Commercial Specialist) says, "This is one of my favorite baits, the inclusion of dried maggots creates the perfect bait for all locations and all species of fish, as we all know that all fish feed on maggots. Dried maggots have a concentrated flavor that smells like roulette. This seems to attract larger fish faster and by using the bait from Maggot Fishmeal, I seem to catch more fish, which is the key to winning in tight fishing games. Empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round bucket, fill a 2 quart maggot pan with water, pour it over the groundbait and mix well, then leave for 30 minutes, during this time the water will be absorbed by the groundbait. When fishing, the sun and wind can dry out the groundbait a bit, to combat this you can cover the mixed groundbait with a wet towel or if it dries out, just add a little more water and mix again.
