Which swim cap to wear for your level?

When choosing the material for a swim cap, we've analyzed the needs of each level and the elements required for their practice. For those new to swimming, we recommend easy-to-slip-on caps that provide maximum comfort at all times. We recommend extremely soft, breathable mesh pieces.

Then, for advanced swimmers, it's important to opt for a cap that's easy to put on, offering both a perfect fit on the head and easy port. Models are generally made from siliconized mesh, providing excellent waterproofing.

And last but not least, for expert and competitive swimmers, it's more than important to opt for models that offer tremendous support, guaranteeing maximum comfort for port, performance and concentration. Those made from molded fabric are perfect for this exercise, thanks to their perfect stability and hydrodynamic properties.

How to fit a swimming cap?

First and foremost, it's worth noting that a bathing cap is necessary not only to keep hair out of chlorinated water, but also to keep it in place. It also benefits swimming pool operators by preventing falling hair from damaging water filters. But here, the question is more about how to wear it properly to hold it on your head. For those with long hair, whether male or female, we recommend tying it firmly back in a ponytail, preferably pointing upwards, so that it fits snugly into the cap and doesn't come loose. You can also wet them before putting on your hat, or apply detangling balm to make them easier to put on, or useautres such as wetting the inside of the hat. When putting it on, be sure to place the tip at forehead level, then pull it down and back to cover the rest of the head. Then it's a matter of adjusting it so that nothing sticks out, at the risk of causing discomfort. To do this, check that it covers your scalp without going over your eyebrows, and that no strands of hair are sticking out.
