Description
The Basix Spod/Marker Braid can be used for element finding or spod/Spomb baiting. This floating braid is perfect for use on your marker rod, as it has no stretch and allows you to better feel your lead on the lake bottom and determine the elements present in front of you. Its small diameter compared with the 30lb breaking tension makes it very easy to cast, and long distances can be reached with a minimum effort.
Thanks to the breaking tension, you can use it without a shockleader, making it much easier to use and fish. Basix Spod/Marker braid is made from a tightly woven braid and offers a silky smooth feel, which also promotes casting distance. Camo green in color, it comes in a 200 m spool, which means it's best used with a backing. The size of this spool means you don't have to fill your reel with hundreds of metres of expensive braid that will never see the light of day!
