Okuma ITX Carbon reels are designed for ultimate durability. Lightweight, stiff C-40X long-strand carbon fibre in the body, side plates and rotor provides extra strength where it's needed most. The machined aluminium handle screws directly into the reel for maximum security and stability. The high-performance 7HPB + 1RB ball-bearing system ensures smooth operation of the reel in fresh and coastal waters, thanks to the precision-cut brass pinion. The two-tone anodized machined aluminum spool is surrounded byOkuma 's Cyclonic Flow Rotor system, which increases air flow through the rotor orifice, increasing drying time and minimizing corrosion throughout the spool. Housed in the spool is the carbon-fiber multi-disc brake system with a hydroblock that keeps water out and your brake running smoothly.
