After its LT and LT ARK versions, the Certate is now available in a SW version (Salt Water : salt water). The Certate is a reel much appreciated by sea anglers and has become a benchmark for compact, powerful and robust spinning reels. With the arrival of the Certate SW, available in sizes 8000 to 18000, the Certate family is now a complete range for sea-fishing enthusiasts, from bass to tuna.
Power and sturdiness
A true replacement for the Catalina, the Certate SW is equipped with the Monocoque frame, just like the Saltiga 20. This structure one-piece machined aluminum frame gives the Certate SW great strength and sturdiness. The Body Monocoque also allows the reel to be fitted with a large Tough Digigear control wheel, with a large number of teeth for a significant gain in power. Another point feature in common with the Saltiga 20 is the ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) ratchet brake, which is very sonorous, allowing the angler to adjust the knob with precision, not to mention increasing fishing pleasure. Sensations guaranteed!
Light and fluid
Thanks to its Air Rotor in ZAION carbon, the reel's rotation is smoother and lighter: a real gain in comfort for strong fishing enthusiasts. A Magsealed bearing in the pick-up rollerup and Magsealed oil around the reel's main shaft improve the Certate SW's watertightness against corrosive salty elements. When retrieving, the spinning comfort is unique. When fighting, the roller offers perfect fluidity so as not to disturb the progressiveness of the ATD drag.
Combat handles
The rapide ratio models (H and XH models) feature a soft-touch oval crank with great grip for calm, comfortable combat with larger specimens. The slower ratio models (P models) are equipped with a round EVA crank, particularly suited to vertical fishing.
