Developed atorigine for jigging, the 7264 VMC has all the features you need to rig your Fire Ball mounts. It's a simple, strong iron, extra wide hook which, in addition to its ultimate strength, has a fairly short shank. It will delight anglers who like to make their own "home-made" Fire Ball mounts, enabling them to:
hook a livebait by the mouth without hurting it too much and keep it alive on the jig by sticking its snout as close as possible to the sinker,
avoid, thanks to its short shank, tears caused by repeated animation which are amplified with a too long shank and therefore act as an overly strong lever arm,
Even if it's not necessarily designed to sting predators, its very rounded, wide shape and extreme spiciness facilitate penetration when striking hesitant fish that won't take the triple.
The 7264 is also ideally suited to creating a hair rig for pellets or even simply for fishing with natural baits...
