's Valiance Hooded Puffer

A welcome sanctuary from driving rain or falling snow, the Valiance down jacket is warm and waterproof, designed for everyday use and intense days of winter hiking.

Made with a tough, waterproof Pertex® Shield outer shell and taped seams, the Valiance down jacket offers reliable protection under the darkest clouds. The welded construction of narrow partitioned tiles stabilizes the down and allows it to expand, trapping the maximum volume of air and providing all the warmth needed. For added strength, less bulk and better moisture management, the cuffs and hood are insulated with Stratus™ synthetic drying fabric rapide. When the cuffs are tightened with Velcro tabs, the synthetic insulation is still operational. With a longer lower back and a straight cut that allows it to be worn overautres layers, the Valiance down jacket provides a comforting, protective feel on cold-weather expeditions.
