It's ideal for emergency survival kits and evacuation bags. Designed to fit our existing LifeSaver jerrycans, the new cartridge can be easily swapped out when you're in a particularly toxic area. Packed in aluminum foil, the cartridge can be stored for 10 years in case of emergencies.

The extended shelf life is due to the barrier aluminum foil, which has a water vapour diffusion rate 80 times slower than standard polyethylene used for packaging. The sealed aluminum packaging acts as a barrier to prevent moisture from entering the package and offers the same protection in reverse, as it keeps glycerin inside the hollow fibre membranes.
