Additionally, the men's softshell trouser is 100% compatible with mountaineering: the flat waistband adjustable with Velcro and the slanted side pockets do not obstruct the use of a harness. An additional side pocket can accommodate an avalanche transceiver, a smartphone, a topographic map, or a beanie.
