Its lightweight and technical structure covers a wide range of conditions, terrains, and activities from sporty rocky trails to demanding snowy and icy roads, such as in the high Dolomites. To ensure grip and traction on varied terrain, the Pomoca Alpine Light outsole features a robust tread, while its cushioning EVA midsole provides extra comfort for longer days. The ankle protection system wraps the foot, offering even more stability and protection against rocks and debris. The new Edging Plate 2 technology from Salewa combines an internal TPU shaft for the perfect balance of flexibility and rigidity during climbing, with a heel stabilizer compatible with crampons for added stability on technical trails. Our exclusive 3F system ensures better heel support during activity, while the MFF+ allows for a customizable fit, for perfect comfort. The durable nylon upper fabric is reinforced by high-tenacity protective seams and a TPU film that is abrasion-resistant with internal rubber protection. The overall weight and thickness of the material have been kept as low as possible, and the elastic gaiter protects your feet from debris and mud. Thanks to its PFC-free waterproof Powertex membrane, it is also the very first climbing shoe to carry the Salewa Committed icon and meet the strict criteria we have set ourselves to offer sustainable and environmentally friendly products.
