The rotor with cyclonic flow (CFR) has been designed to create a "cyclonic" air flow, which considerably increases the air flow through the rotor.

This thoroughly tested design allows for a much faster drying time rapide if the coil is wet, which minimizes the possibility of corrosion through the coil.

Okuma redesigned the drive system while maintaining the design of a short-stroke, long-stroke 30 mm coil to minimize mass and weight.
