Any movement in the opposite direction resets the distance counter to zero. This can greatly reduce or eliminate false triggers caused by wind and water movement.

Lighted bivouac function
When the lighted bivouac function is activated via the switch on the back of the receiver, it behaves as follows:
- The indication lights on the receiver will be slightly dimmed to prevent the receiver from emitting too much light while the bivy light is active
- The bivy light will only turn on if three bite triggers are received in succession to prevent lines and false indications from unnecessarily lighting up your bivy
- The bivy light will turn off in full brightness and remain on while the alarm continues to send trigger signals to the receiver. The light will turn off smoothly within 5 seconds of the trigger lights going off on the receiver, as long as no other indication is received.
