The Angl-R barbel rods have been specially designed for barbel fishing in the rivers of the UK and Europe.
Made from high-stiffness carbon and featuring a very powerful rear section, the blank has a progressive action that can control large fish with ease.

The Avon tip is ideal for float fishing, rolling meat, or static bait fishing. The Avon tip has been finished with a special luminous coating that will glow in the dark after being exposed to a light source, such as a headlamp.
The blank is fitted with M-Series guides that are spaced to allow the blank to perform as a barbel rod should, with a lovely progressive action.

Other features include an anti-frap tip guide, a screw reel seat, and a thin high-quality cork handle. For those fishing at night, the rod comes with two clip-on isotopes holders (small and large) that can accommodate isotopes of 2.2 mm or 3 mm, fitting easily to the tip of the rod and housing a nocturnal Isotope light.
