The quickest and easiest shelter to set up has been further improved with the introduction of the amazing Tempest Rapid Shelter. At the centre of the tent is the renowned patented hinge block, allowing for easy and quick installation. The setup time, user-friendliness, and functionality have been significantly enhanced with the Rapid Knuckle system, which lets the five main poles lock in one simple action. Simple and secure, setting up your shelter has never been easier. Additional improvements to the Rapid Shelter include an integrated canopy to minimise water ingress around the door, and its size can be increased for even greater coverage with the addition of a Skull Cap. The back of the shelter has been made flatter than its predecessor, providing an optimal balance between internal storage space, the ability to fit pegs, and aerodynamics. Airflow throughout the shelter has been improved with adaptive ventilation across six openings (four at the back and two at the front), facilitating airflow even when it’s raining. To stay cooler in summer, the four rear openings can be pegged down to create shaded areas, which, when used with a Skull Cap, can lower the internal temperature by several degrees. For optimal storage, there are four internal pockets, two on each side and two at the front. The front pockets include a suspension loop where you can store essentials like your receiver or even your jacket for a quick grab during uncertain weather.
