An enveloping layer of protection, the Meninx is influenced by both the science of the body's own meninges, which protect the central nervous system, and traditional ski helmets. A simple appearance hides the complicated and advanced protection offered. The lightweight helmet features an ABS shell and a lining with sections in EPS and EPP to provide the ultimate balance between protection, weight, and comfort. The removable two-step ear pads work in harmony with the helmet's discreet ventilation channels for optimal temperature control. The addition of a Fidlock® buckle on the chin strap ensures that it's easy to fasten the helmet while wearing gloves.
